Departure
We will meet at your chosen location for a prompt start to our adventure.
1. Coastal Drive from San Juan to Arecibo
After leaving the city, we will have a scenic drive along the coast towards Arecibo. Marvel at the breathtaking ocean views and the beauty of Puerto Rico’s coastline.
2. First Stop at Mar Chiquita
Mar Chiquita is a stunning natural beach located on the northern coast of Puerto Rico, near the town of Manatí. Known for its unique half-moon shape, this picturesque beach is framed by lush cliffs and azure waters. The calm, shallow waters make it an ideal spot for swimming and sunbathing.
3. Visit the Columbus Statue in Arecibo
Next, we will journey to Arecibo to visit the famous statue of Christopher Columbus. This historical landmark offers great photo opportunities. The statue is close, but we can see it from the coast.
4. Lunch Stop
We will make a stop for lunch at a local food place where you can savor delicious local cuisine. Enjoy the flavors of Puerto Rican dishes in a relaxing atmosphere.
5. Beach Visit: Playa del Obispo
Our next stop will be the serene Playa del Obispo. Enjoy the sun, sand, and ocean waves as you take in the stunning views of the coast.
6. Arecibo Water Park
Finally, we will head to the Arecibo Water Park for some fun and relaxation. Arecibo Water Park features a fun and imaginative theme that captivates visitors of all ages, particularly families. Among its many attractions, the park is renowned for its whimsical dinosaur figures that enhance the aquatic experience. These life-sized dinosaur replicas are strategically placed throughout the park, adding a playful and adventurous atmosphere. You’ll encounter a variety of dinosaurs, including towering T-Rexes, friendly Brontosauruses, and other prehistoric creatures, all crafted with vibrant colors and intricate details.
The figures serve not only as entertaining sights but also as interactive installations where children can climb, explore, and pose for memorable photos. The combination of thrilling water slides and the dinosaur-themed decor makes Arecibo Water Park a unique and exciting destination, providing a perfect backdrop for fun-filled family outings and creating lasting memories.
Note: Admission to the Arecibo Water Park is not included in the tour. The visit includes access to the area with the dinosaur figures located outside the water attractions.
